Coverage and eligibility vary by insurer and applicant. A request does not activate coverage.

Your agreement can require more than the state's minimum protection.
Compare the actual policy with the conditions of your loan or lease.
Have vehicle, lender and expected delivery details ready for follow-up.
State-required insurance and the protection required by a lender are different questions. Lenders commonly ask for collision and comprehensive to protect the financed vehicle, and your agreement may set other limits or deductible conditions. Ask for the actual insurance requirements rather than relying only on the phrase full coverage.[1][2]
Collision addresses covered damage from a collision; comprehensive addresses certain non-collision losses, such as theft or weather damage. Neither means every loss is covered. Review exclusions and what you would pay out of pocket for a covered claim, while staying within the conditions of your agreement.[1][2]
Do not assume gap or loan/lease payoff protection is included in collision or comprehensive. Ask whether a separate product is available, what balance it addresses, its limits and exclusions, and whether you already have protection through a loan or dealership agreement. Product names and conditions differ; this page does not promise UPIX access or eligibility.[2]
Start online with your contact preferences and basic year, make and model. During secure follow-up, have the exact VIN, owner, lender or lessor name, agreement requirements and expected delivery date ready. Do not put a full license number, Social Security number or payment information in the initial form.[2]
Check your loan or lease agreement and lender requirements before changing coverage. A policy that meets a state minimum may still fail the financing conditions.[2]
Not necessarily. Full coverage is informal language. Compare the actual coverages, limits, deductible conditions and lender listing against your agreement.
No. Ask separately about availability and terms, and check your financing documents for any existing protection. An auto quote does not prove that gap is included.[2]
No. A request starts a review, not a policy. Confirm acceptance, issued documents and the effective date with the agency and insurer before relying on coverage.
General education, not an offer or a coverage determination. Confirm current state requirements and the actual policy with the insurer. No specific UPIX discount, bundle or acceptance is promised here.
